Utopia - A happy
place, state or condition that is ideally perfect in respect of politics, law
and customs.
Dystopia – An imaginary place or state in which the condition of life
is extremely bad, a society characterized by human misery.
Utopia
is the opposite of Dystopia, when I think of the word Utopia I think of a
place, a place free of poverty and filled with happiness. What also comes to
mind was Ethiopia which is in Africa. Another
example of Utopia would be heaven, because most
people think heaven is an ideal perfect place where nothing goes wrong and everyone
is very happy .Utopia is basically an imaginary world that you can create or
live in. Free of poverty and suffering. In a society of Utopia there’s no crime
and no corruptions, sometimes to avoid any conflicts you basically do whatever
you want if it makes you happy.
Dystopia to me is a disease something
really bad, it also means nightmare. I think a good example of Dystopia would
be American, because the citizens of the United States have a fear, a fear of
the outside world. The media can also be an example of Dystopia they’re the reason
why good things lead too bad because of what they advertised. Dystopia is also like
9/11. Some places in Africa are Dystopia because they are living in fear, fear
of what the government or the citizens might do. It’s also bad because they have less jobs and
the rate of poverty is very high. In American we don’t live in poverty but we
do have fear and suspicions of everybody around us, because of 9/11.
The
difference between Utopia and Dystopia is that Utopia is when the communities/
society are perfect. And Dystopias is when the community is unpleasant.
